Many of us have wondered, what is cancer ?
Cancer is a class of diseases in that a group of cells rating uncontrolled growth (division beyond the median limits), invasion (intrusion on and end of adjacent tissues), and sometimes metastasis (spread to other locations in the person via lymph or blood). These three malignant structures of cancers differentiate them from benign tumors, that are self-limited, and do not impinge on or metastasize. Most cancers produce a tumor but some, desire leukemia, do not. The branch of medicine concerned in on the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer is oncology.
